Jade The Muse

Vocalist

Jade Roberson, known artistically as Jade the Muse, carries a name born from a running joke that they were always someone’s muse in creative spaces. Influenced by the iconic muses in Disney’s Hercules, the title stuck—capturing their ethereal presence and the inspiration they bring into any room.

For their feature on Santa Honey, Jade leaned into Poeticlee's vision for “sultry jazz vibes,” pulling heavy influence from Eartha Kitt. Their sound is shaped by giants like Michael Jackson, Prince, and Stevie Wonder, whose intricate and sometimes “chaotic” creative processes mirror Jade’s own two-line recording technique—something they later learned MJ himself practiced.

Though Jade thrives on stage, recording is an intimate challenge for them. Stepping into the booth with Poeticlee pushed her out of their comfort zone intentionally—a deliberate act to grow, refine, and honor the beauty of true artistry.

Born in Greenville and raised in Raleigh, Jade grew up surrounded by music—from her singing grandmother to church performances and jazz vocal training from Miss Chanette, whom they call “a real big jazz cat” in Raleigh. Raleigh also gave them their first spotlight through Emerge, shaping the foundation of who they would become as a performer.

Jade’s calling revealed itself early. With a renewed vision for 2026, she's stepping into new rooms, new opportunities, and new levels of artistry.

And if there’s one thing the world should know? Jade can sing—really sing. As Rome Jeter famously put it:“This is Jade, the greatest singer you’ve never heard.”
