Aaliyah Divine

Vocalist

Aaliyah Divine is a Winston-Salem–based recording artist, vocalist, actress, and dancer whose performance career spans more than a decade. She has been featured in numerous productions with the North Carolina Black Repertory Company since 2010, performing under the mentorship of the iconic Mabel P. Robinson.

In 2024, Aaliyah appeared in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical at The Little Theatre of Winston-Salem, portraying Little Eva, a Shirelle, and Janelle Woods—roles that earned her two ACE Award nominations: Best Supporting Actress in a Musical and Best Rising Star. Her additional credits include long-standing vocal work in Nativity According to the Gospels, starring roles in youth and touring productions such as Bullying, and countless ensemble and featured vocalist performances.

With vocal training beginning at age five, a rich foundation in gospel music, and a soulful presence rooted in R&B and musical theatre, Aaliyah carries her artistry beyond the stage as a developing recording artist. Trained in acting, stage performance, and choreography, she brings emotional storytelling to every performance. She is also a professional makeup artist of over seven years, enhancing her creative versatility both on and off stage.
